In the village is a good range of small shops, including a Post Office, Bank, Greengrocers, Butcher, Baker, Newsagents, Chemist, Hairdressers, Fish Market and Shellfish Suppliers, together with a supermarket, with cash point! A 24 hour Tesco store can be found in Penzance. There is a small shingle beach nearby and other sandy ones a short distance away which cater for children making sand-castles, surfing, and board sailing.
