Accessibility
Due to the geographical nature of Polruan the area may be difficult for some people to access. In addition there are some steps in both the house and garden which may not be suitable for some visitors and young children. The upstairs double bedroom/en-suite is accessed via an alternate tread staircase and has irregular ceiling heights - it is not suitable for children or anyone unsteady on their feed. Please do enquire if you have any specific concerns and we will endeavour to answer any queries you may have.

Dogs
We love dogs and welcome them to Driftwood. There are lovely walks just a few minutes from the house.

Polruan

Polruan is situated opposite Fowey and is linked by a passenger ferry which provides a regular, year round service. A car ferry to Fowey runs from nearby Bodinnick - famous for its associations with Daphne du Maurier.

The Fowey Estuary is one of the most attractive areas of the Cornish Coast and is adjacent to miles of open countryside, much of which is owned by the National Trust.
